WORKING ON THE PIAFFE,  PASSAGE AND TOWARDS THE GRAND PRIX

Today Piaffe Presents Lucy Pincus training with her father David Pincus on her horse Don Calisto, a ten year old who is working towards Grand Prix. David has successfully competed at International Big Tour level and has trained riders to International Big Tour, including World Championships and the Olympic Games. Serena, his wife, is a highly experienced competition rider and has won several National Championship titles on her home bred horses. She teaches pupils of all levels and specialises in coaching the British Dressage U21’s.  Methods taught at Sheepcote are those that David and Serena learnt from notable establishments including the Spanish Riding School, the Cadre Noir, Warendorf, the stable of Dr Reiner Klimke, the stable of Margit Otto Crepin and Crabbet Park. David also visits the yard of Carl Hester once a week to assist with any training challenges and specialises in teaching horses the Piaffe and Passage.

David is an exceptionally passionate horseman and overpowers the microphone on several points throughout this session distorting the sound. We suggest headphones for this one and slightly turned down!
